About Us

Fallston Christian Home School (formerly Salem Christian School) was established in September, 2000, to offer area homeschoolers an umbrella program that would provide guidance and accountability to each family. We are a Ministry of Fallston United Methodist Church located in Fallston, Maryland.

Starting as a vision of two homeschooling mom’s, the ministry quickly grew and earned a stellar reputation among both home educators and school officials.

Together, our four Administrators have accumulated over 100 years of homeschooling expertise. All Counselors are required to have homeschooled their own children for at least seven or more years. Most of our counselors have been teaching their children at home for at least 12 years and graduated one or more of their children. From this powerful chest of knowledge we are able to share the ins-and-outs of homeschooling with our member families.

We do not do peer or group reviews and strive to work with each family individually to ascertain every child is being educated.

Although we may hold our families to a higher standard, we feel that parents who are truly committed to home education and want the best for their children will find Fallston Christian Home School to be a perfect fit.
