Welcome

Welcome to Fallston Christian Home School (formerly Salem Christian School), a ministry of Fallston United Methodist Church. We serve Christian families in Harford County, Northeast Baltimore County, and Cecil County, Maryland.

Our goal is to encourage and inspire parents in the rewarding journey of home education.

For many reasons, families are choosing to educate their children at home. Christian parents find that by teaching their own children, they can bring God’s word back into education. Providing children with a solid Christian education equips them with a sense of purpose and worth; knowing that they are intentionally and lovingly created to worship and serve God, and their communities. Within a safe and loving environment, they can discover their individual gifts and talents; develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

All of us at Fallston Christian Home School are committed to assisting you prepare, implement, and continue to teach your children at home. Our counselors are ready to answer your questions and help you plan each student’s school path.

By providing a weekly update to your inbox, we are able to keep each family informed of events, links, articles, etc., added to our website. A monthly newsletter is sent by email filled with news from within the homeschooling community and opportunities or events that may be of interest to homeschoolers.

Discounted prices are offered for membership in The Home School Legal Defense Association, tickets to TheatreWorks, and local events. We offer family dances, Junior/Senior Prom, and Graduation.

We are proud of the reputation we have earned among both homeschoolers and local school boards. Our intent is to continue to share our knowledge and experience with those parents seeking support and accountability while homeschooling their children.
